Towne Lake will be adding a Krogers grocery store to their community. Construction will begin this fall on the supermarket and is slated to be completed by fall 2013.
“This Kroger store will have an architectural design similar to a Texas Hill Country look,” said Fred Caldwell, CEO of Caldwell Companies, the developer of Towne Lake. “It will be a lot different than the traditional grocery store people see. It’s a very unique look, and it will fit well within Towne Lake.”
The new store, which could be open by the fall of 2013, will greatly benefit residents of Towne Lake, Caldwell said.
“Having a major grocery store is so valuable to our residents’ quality of life to be able to pick things up on the way home and make a quick trip to the store,” he said. “It’s also a great benefit for all those families south of Hwy. 290 who can utilize and appreciate a high quality grocery store right there in the neighborhood.”
The new Krogers will be located in the commons area and will be accessible by foot, car and boat.
