Blake Cummins is the Co-Owner and CEO of Morning Star Builders. Growing up in the industry, Blake carries on the legacy of excellence and integrity established by his family. He is passionate about serving others in the business, ensuring every home is built with purpose, precision, and a commitment to the client’s vision.
Blake believes in stewarding the resources God has blessed him with, leading with faith, and operating the business with a heart for service. He enjoys bringing people together through outdoor adventures, whether golfing, hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying God’s creation. Above all, Blake cherishes time with his wife, Kelsey, and their daughter, embracing family as the cornerstone of his life and work.
Wes Christian

Wes Christian is the Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Morning Star Builders. With over 25 years in the building industry, Wes is passionate about building the best homes while upholding the values of integrity, excellence, and a good handshake in every business interaction. He believes that success is built on a strong foundation—both in construction and in life.
Guided by his faith, Wes prioritizes God, family, and serving others. He finds joy in spending time with his wife, Tess, and their six children, creating lasting memories through hunting, cooking, and the great outdoors. His commitment to craftsmanship and people extends beyond the job site, as he seeks to honor God by building homes that stand as a legacy for generations to come.
