Spring has arrived and Main Street Festivals is preparing to host the annual Texas Wine and Art Festival. Texas wineries will offer old favorites as well as new wines for sampling and purchasing. Health Fest Houston 2018

HealthFest is an exciting, interactive family event. It is Houston’s premier event for promoting healthy lifestyles for families. We will feature local chefs, athletes, nutrition, wellness, green & Eco products, lifestyle and fitness experts. HealthFest will also feature family friendly activities, live music and performances, demos and various vendors from across the US. HealthFest is hosted by Nicole’s Garden, a non-profit organization whose top mission is to change the way that people eat, grow and attain their food by establishing urban and alternative micro farms in non-green spaces. All proceeds of the event will benefit Nicole’s Garden and Farm Local Houston.
McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival

Two days of games, circus acts, rides, food, beverages, and entertainment for all ages centered in downtown Houston. The Festival excitement includes Fourteen Big Family Adventure Zones, Six stages of music and entertainment, over three hundred fun activities, as well as featured celebrities, including PAW Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Curious George, and other exciting characters. Created 30 years ago by Child Advocates as an avenue to create awareness and funding to help the abused and neglected children of Houston.
Over 5.5 million dollars have been raised for the organization through the annual two days of children activities. Come celebrate, enjoy, laugh, and play at the 30th Annual McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival and create a lifetime of memories!

Houston Art Car Parade

The Houston Art Car Parade is a free BYOG (bring your own goodies- lawn chairs, water, treats, no dogs please) event. The Parade has become a nationwide phenomenon and continues to bring out the artist in everyone. This year’s spectacle is expected to draw a crowd of 250,000 fans from across the map and approximately 250 local, national and international artists will transform everyday automobiles into one-of-a-kind creations meant to amuse, inspire, enlighten and entertain.
Presented by the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, the award-winning Parade preserves and promotes visionary art environments and provides opportunities to discover and celebrate the artist in everyone. At the biggest and best Art Car Parade on earth, the Orange Show dares ogling onlookers to discover their inner artists and to seek inspiration from stunners ranging from an exact replica F-18 fighter jet car to one inspired by the Beatles classic “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.”
Five Dollar Food Truck Festival
