Morning Star Builders is thrilled to be attending the International Builders Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center this January. The International Builders Show is the largest light construction builders show in the world. It’s a wonderful place to network with vendors, suppliers and other builders. It’s also a perfect opportunity to learn about the newest trends in home building.
Ted and Yvonne weren’t just attendees to IBS they were also presenters. Ted was invited to speak at Houzz and Yvonne and Jennifer Symons were on hand to speak as well.
The International Builders Show has educational events for every kind of builder. Whether you’re building custom homes, are in the business of remodeling homes, or build homes for the 50+ homeowner there is an event or class designed to those specific concerns.
The 50+ Lifestyle Central is designed for those builders who want to learn about current information about that baby boomer market and its growing sales potential. The boomer market is different and this program explores how to better market and sell to this large and influential demographic.
According to the National Association of Home Builder:
“The 55+ housing market has been one of the healthiest segments of the overall housing market, and is likely to remain that way over the next several years,” said Paul Emrath, NAHB’s vice president of survey and housing policy research. “When you look at age-restricted single-family starts, there were as many in the first half of 2014 as in all of 2012. And going forward, the steady rise in the 55 and over population will signal an increased need for housing to accommodate that group.”
Later, at the 50+ Lifestyle Central this Wednesday, you can come back and learn about universal design practices.
Join top 50+ builders, developers, architects and marketers for the presentation of the finalists at the Best of 50+ Housing awards ceremony. No matter who your target audience is you’ll want to learn how to successfully market to the boomer crown.
The 50+ Lifestyle Central is open to all registrants at the International Builders Show.
Of course there’s more to the IBS than just the convention. There are awards to be given, as mentioned above, and there are networking opportunities as well. Last night attendees were invited to meet one another over a cocktail and bowling at the Brooklyn Bowl at the Linq. It was a rousing gathering with interesting food (deep fried mac and cheese) and fun atmosphere. The Brooklyn Bowl is located at the base of the High Roller Wheel, quite a sight to see.
