Operation Finally Home: New Years Surprise!

On New Year’s Eve, in Times Square, a veteran and his family received a blessing they never saw coming. Operation Finally Home announced that they would be building a custom-built, easily-accessible, mortgage-free home for the family in their home town of San Antonio.

First Lieutenant Garrett Spears was struck by lightening during training in about 4 years ago. Since the accident, his mobility has been impaired and his memory is inconsistent. The family is grateful to be accepting such a priceless gift.
