Think about a trip to the grocery store. You walk in for milk, berries, and cereal. You walk out with milk, berries, and cereal…. and chocolate milk, ice cream, gatorade, and your favorite chips that were on sale. It’s easy to let the same thing happen with home building. The little things begin to add up.
As your home builder, we do our part by providing a budget for all your selections (light fixtures, appliances, paint colors, etc). It’s your job to keep the selections within your budget. And, just to be safe, we recommend you plan to spend about 30% more than your planned budget.
