This year is getting off to a great start. Last month Morning Star Builders went to the International Builder’s Show. You can see some highlights of the show by clicking here. It was great fun, a wonderful opportunity to learn some new things about home building and we got to share some of our ideas with attendees as well. Texas Home and Garden Show – Houston
When: February 6th – 8th (this weekend!)
Where: NRG Center in Houston
This is your destination for all of your home and garden needs. Learn about the latest in doors, windows, roofing and floors at this huge event at the NRG Center in Houston. The Texas Home and Garden Show is more than 150,000 square feet of home building and garden exhibits. More than a thousand products and services are available to help you get ideas for your next home project. Additionally, experts are on hand to answer any questions you might have about DIY projects, larger remodels or for building a brand new home from the ground up. In addition to that there’s an expanded KidsZone with bounce house and other fun activities. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for military and seniors and children under 14 are free. 37th Corvette/Chevy Expo
When: February 14th, 9am – 7pm and 15th, 9am – 6pm
Where: NRG Center
Grab your sweetheart and head out to the 37th Corvette/Chevy expo featuring world class Chevy cars and show trucks. There will be a swap meet, cars for sale and costumed characters to entertain the kids. Tickets are $15 at the gate and $13 online per day or get a weekend pass for $25 at the gate or $20 online. Cy-Fair Home and Garden Show
When: February 21st and 22nd

Walk the floor and discover new ideas in home decor and design. Talk with industry experts about your next project or your goals for your home and garden. Get ideas, shop and see all the latest trends in kitchens, baths, patios and even cooking. There will be an in-show garden center and the Farmer’s Market of Bridgeland will be at the show.
